Terms of Service

The service
The Daily Brief delivers a personalized daily news digest. Story summaries are AI-assisted, synthesized from licensed sources, and every item links to its original publishers. Confidence labels (“Confirmed”, “Developing”) describe how many independent sources corroborate a story at publication time — they are an editorial signal, not a guarantee of truth.
Content & attribution
Summaries are original text. Reporting belongs to the cited publishers; follow the source links for full articles, which are governed by each publisher’s own terms.
Trial, billing & refunds
Every subscription starts with a 1-month free trial — no payment details required. After the trial, continued service costs €3.99/month or €39.99/year, processed by Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record, which handles VAT and invoicing). Prices include applicable VAT. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. If the service failed to deliver during a billed period, contact supporto@thedailybrief.it within 14 days for a refund. When a trial ends without a subscription, new editions pause but your past editions remain accessible.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By subscribing you expressly ask us to begin supplying the service immediately and acknowledge that, once supply has begun, the right of withdrawal is lost. This does not affect your right to cancel future renewals at any time, nor the refund commitment above.
No professional advice
Content is provided for general information and is not financial, legal, medical or other professional advice.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sirio Tintori, Via dei Pini 22, 56022 Castelfranco di Sotto, Italia is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the digest. Errors can be reported to supporto@thedailybrief.it and will be corrected in the archive.
Termination
You can end the service anytime by unsubscribing. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
